What is the AI Command Builder?
The AI Command Builder lets you create custom Rephlo commands by describing what you want in plain language. Instead of writing prompts manually, you have a conversation with the AI: describe your goal, review the generated command, refine it with feedback, and save it for reuse.
For example, you might say "I want a command that rewrites my emails to sound more confident without being aggressive." The AI generates a complete command with a name, description, and optimized instruction. You can then refine it by adding requirements like "Make it also preserve my personality" or "Don't make it too formal."
How do I create a command with the AI Builder?
Open Dashboard, go to Commands, click "New with AI" (the magic wand icon). Describe what you want the command to do in plain language. Review the AI-generated command card, refine with additional feedback if needed, then click Create Command to save it.
The builder generates a command card with a suggested name, description, and detailed instruction. You can edit any field before saving. Commands support Standalone mode (no input text needed) and Combination mode (processes selected text). You can also attach a Knowledge Space for context-aware commands.
- Open the Builder: Go to Dashboard > Commands > "New with AI" (magic wand icon) to open the AI Command Builder.
- Describe your goal: Type a natural language description like "Summarize legal contracts into simple language" or "Fix code and explain what was wrong."
- Review the suggestion: The AI generates a command card with a suggested name, description, and instruction. Review each field.
- Refine and save: Add follow-up instructions to adjust the command. When satisfied, click "Create Command" to save it to your library.
What kinds of commands can I create?
You can create commands for any text processing task: email rewriting, code review, content summarization, translation, grammar checking, report generation, data extraction, format conversion, and more. Commands can use selected text, Knowledge Space context, or work standalone.
Power users create specialized commands for their workflows. A lawyer might build a "Contract Clause Analyzer" that identifies risky clauses. A developer might create a "Generate Unit Tests" command that writes tests for selected code. A marketer might have a "Blog to Social Media" command that repurposes content for different platforms.
